To those who are hurting,
It can be hard but please don’t isolate yourself from the ones you love when things get rough. Allow yourself to be alongside those closest to you; those you trust.
In times of darkness, it’s not wrong to cry. There’s never a wrong time to cry. It’s not wrong to be sad or feel hurt or pain. It’s okay to express all of that and let out everything that you’ve been holding in. Your mind and thoughts are not irrelevant.
You are cared about.
I wish there was something that could be said to make it better for you. But all I can say is I’m always here to listen to you, and I am sorry that you are going through difficult times.
If you’re still reading this, I will continue writing.
I am thinking about you and sending you love and strength.
To the soul who’s still reading on...
“What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose... All that we love deeply becomes a part of us”
There shall always be sunlight to seep through the clouds too.
Your heart contains the comfort sealed inside of you.
The state and place you’re in right now is a reference to many different things.
There will come a time when your heart will heal...
For those who are in the time periods of experiencing loss, may the following help you in even the smallest of ways:
“Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.”
“Let yourself cry knowing that each tear is a note of love rising to the heavens.”
...Then allow yourself to be in the period of healing. Deeply.
I hope that you’re still eating well and drinking enough water. I hope you get the rest you need. I hope you find peace and gently become mentally and physically better. I hope you keep strength.
I know you’re trying.
Parts of life will drag you down. But you were given this life because you’re strong enough to live it. Please listen to some music to help cope if that helps you. And please don’t ever feel like you need to be fine all the time.
As a human being with a real soul to another human being with a real soul,
I love and care about you. You are loved and cared about by someone.
I hope your pain eases soon.
Sincerely,
Sarah T., Sitting With Ourselves
