You know yourself best

The human body that you were born into acts like a shell.
It is what allows your soul to experience this life on Earth with humanity.
But alongside this, you are living with the laws of the human condition.
Being born into this world, you are given the chance to develop yourself with your own individual difference, a personality, a mind of your own thoughts.
And with such personal development, you are influenced by the environmental factors you are exposed to.
You change, react, and understand. You watch, learn, and think.
You may become aware of yourself more.
Even then, a mind full of thoughts means a human being with emotions and values, and ways of handling life.
In this, you are developing.
In this, you start to become "you."
As time passes by, you create memories where you remember in your own point of view.
You begin to feel,
and have your own way of thinking;
your own opinions, values, and actions, that reflect who you are;
your own personality and soul.
You have your own memories and emotions, mind and brain;
they make you who you are.
And only you know the things that go on inside your head.
Only you know what your true intentions are.
If anyone is to know yourself best, it's you.
Because nobody else lives as you - they don't know what it's like to live your life and face what you go through.
They don't know what you have experienced, how you've felt, and how you feel.
They don't think exactly like you or feel exactly like you.
They don't have the same mind as you do.
And that's where the "everyone is unique" quote comes in, because it is so very true.
There can never be another you.
In that sense, you do know yourself best;
even if you feel like you don't really fully know yourself either.
Don't be hurt by those who judge you, yet don't know you.
You should not waste energy and emotions on those who simply nit-pick.
Why?
The people that you come across only get a glimpse of you.
They only get their own thoughts, assumptions, and impressions of you.
Yet, from just small, several or even no encounters, they do not have facts of your true essence; your true self.
It doesn't matter what people think.
It matters what you think.
People only see a small portion of someone's life; a small amount of what they see and know.
But out of that, they know nothing else with the larger proportion of one's life.
And that's why we should be gentle with people.
Be more loving and compassionate.
Be more understanding.
You should remember what your own truth is. Your worth.
The aspects of the human condition in this lifetime is a part of your experience.
You.
Yes, you.
I know many things are easier said than done.
But just be you.
Be you, as in love being yourself. Accept yourself as you are and remind yourself that you are only human at the end of the day.
You only have you when you're alone. But as we may feel alone, we are not alone at heart and circumstances.
We are not alone in what we go through.
You're bound to find those who relate to you and are similar with your mindset.
But you are still on your own.
Your own human being.
You.
You special, precious-born human;
experience this life fully.
Give everything you've got.
We all have a different appearance to someone.
People will have their own perception of who you are. But in such cases, you have to remember it is only a view. Yes, you may take that information into account or think about it. But you decide if it's true or false. Deep down, your inner self will know; your subconscious will nudge you.
Remember, you know yourself best out of all the people in your life.
Why?
Because you are living as you.
NOTE:
They don't know you like you do.
You know you best.
Sincerely,
Sarah T., Sitting With Ourselves
